Some background information on me

I’m Brian Forbes, a missionary to missionaries. I can fix almost anything, and can solve technical problems with whatever materials I have on hand – in most creative ways! I am fascinated by engines, medicine, agriculture and alternative energy sources. I will be traveling to locations around the world where my fix-it skills are needed. I hope to solve some of the physical needs that are frustrating missionaries and getting in the way of their work. On August 20th, 2005 I married Stephanie Herzog, a RN and Texan farm girl. We met while volunteering with Mercy Ships. Our sending organization is FIRE International, located in Concord, North Carolina. FIRE is an acronym for Fellowship for International Revival and Evangelism. FIRE is a non-denominational organization affiliated with FIRE School of Ministry. Missionaries may choose their country or type of ministry. FIRE sends out both individuals and teams, and currently has about 100 missionaries in 25 countries.
